DC's freestyle powerhouse for the whole mountain

Tested and developed with the help of the DC team riders. The skate-like feel of the popular Ply offers massive stability and plenty of pop to conquer the whole mountain. The Lock and Load Camber profile offers precise edge control, yet is slightly more forgiving than a traditional camber profile, ideal for creative moves in any terrain.

Riding style
An all-mountain/freestyle board for experienced riders - carving turns on the piste, surf turns in the powder or creative runs in the park. With this board, the good times never stop.

Shape
The Directional Twin Shape has the advantage that the nose is slightly longer than the tail, giving you more float in powder. However, the nose and tail are the same width, so even switch riding is no problem. The bindings are mounted centrally.

Profile
DC's Lock & Load Camber profile comes with a traditional camber between the bindings and is flat behind the bindings towards the nose and tail. This skate-inspired profile gives you a stable ride, but is still more playful and forgiving than a classic camber profile.

Flex
The board's medium to stiff flex guarantees the stability you need to master really big features in the park.

Construction
The Stratus Core is made of soft, flexible, FSC certified poplar wood with two beech stringers running along the centre of the board for added stability. The True Base is a ground base for high speeds with a robust and easy-to-repair construction. With a 3° bevel from the traditional 90° edge, beginners get a forgiving board and experts get a jib-ready board straight off the counter, as it's no longer so easy to get caught with the edge, especially on boxes.

Snowboard er ofte levert klart til bruk med en vokset base og skarpe kanter. Likevel, "factory tuning" er ikke så veldig holdbar og ditt nye snowboard bør bli ordentlig vokset etter et par dager og vedlikeholdt.

I am Jussi and I chose to ride 153 cm because I wanted to have a short board for small resort park laps. I weigh 70 kilograms. If you are new or want to learn park riding, smaller boards can make it more easy to get on the objects and learn spins on small boxes. Also presses are easier. However if I planned to ride more bigger jumps (which I do on another board) I would've gone with the 156 cm DC Ply.

This board is very skate like because of the hybrid camber. It also has some serious snap in it for having a flex 6. The flex feels tougher on the longer boards. This board handles fast park laps with perfection, but also some speed as well if you like to go fast. This is often overlooked board and rather underrated for what it is. My only complaint would be that it has simpler, extruded base for my taste. Extruded bases are good if you just want to snowboard and not thing about waxing, as they perform without wax better than sintered bases.

This board does what I want, not that the board does what it wants with me. This is very important for advancing in the park and staying somewhat safe as you learn new tricks! It won't catch edges easy because of the hybrid camber. It has a convenient ride, predictable ride. PS. The graphic is sick on both of these DC Ply's
