For 26/27, Phaenom gives its top model TPU+: the new temperature-stable material keeps the flex feeling the same on icy morning hardpack as it does in soft afternoon corn. The patent-pending Phaenom Strap, made from a single recyclable material, adds tangible rebound to every turn, absorbs impacts and makes the flex progressive and predictable. On top of that comes a rethought approach to sizing: a more compact outer footprint with full interior space cuts swing weight, so the boot reacts faster and stays precise on steep, technical terrain.

When the day starts uphill, flip the bar on the cuff up and you're in touring mode. Flip it down and lock it in, and you're set for the descent. Toe and heel tech inserts make it ready for touring bindings. The updated liner has a flex zone at the back for a more natural stride, plus breathable foam that keeps your feet cooler and drier on long climbs. The reshaped entry with a higher instep takes pressure off your foot and makes getting in and out much easier. And because buckles, straps and screws can all be swapped individually, the boot is made to be repaired rather than replaced.
