The hybrid cabrio/overlap build combines the snug hold and precise edge control of an overlap boot with the progressive flex of a 3-piece. For the climb, flip the bar on the cuff up. For the descent, flip it back down and lock it in. Toe and heel tech inserts let it slot into touring bindings. Inside the new liner, a flex zone at the back gives you more freedom of movement when walking, while perforated foam lets heat and moisture escape. You'll notice the difference getting in, too: the reshaped shell opening with a higher instep lets your foot slide in more easily and with less pressure. And if something breaks, buckles, straps and screws can each be swapped on their own.
