    Product description

Experience the legendary Skunk Ape now as a freestyle twin

The Skunk Ape Twin is the solution for all snowboarders with large boots who want to ride both park and resort. The legendary Skunk Ape series now has a true all-rounder in the Twin version for those who want to shred in both directions. The Skunk Ape Twin 2027 is also enhanced with artwork by Quincy Quigg and handmade ‘Mervin Made’ construction without hazardous waste.

    Riding Style
This board is ready for anything: rails in the park, turns on the piste or spontaneous detours off-piste to where the fresh powder lies. The twin shape makes you switch-ready and lets you ride equally smoothly in both directions. Butter tricks? No problem. Jibbing? Absolutely. And your toes are guaranteed to stay on the board.

    Shape
The twin shape ensures maximum versatility. The nose and tail are identically shaped, giving you the same performance in both directions. Perfect for freestyle action in the park and spontaneous switch manoeuvres on the piste.

    Profile
The camber profile gives you maximum power and precision. The centralised camber distributes energy optimally to the nose and tail – that means pop, control and activity for experienced snowboarders who love camber boards.

    Flex
The medium to hard flex (7/10) makes the board versatile – stable enough for fast runs, but playful enough for park and jib sessions.

    Construction
Horsepower Construction (HP) is lighter, more environmentally friendly and smoother than ever before. The core, made of 60% aspen and 40% paulownia, provides the perfect balance of stability and light weight – ideal for long days on the lift. Birch sidewalls and UHMW sintered sidewalls offer additional durability, while the UHMW tip/tail impact deflection cushions impacts on the nose and tail. The eco-sublimated organic bean topsheet and Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax fibreglass with basalt alloy round off the environmentally conscious package. The sintered Knife Cut Base is fast and durable.

    Magne-Traction®
Patented Magne-Traction® technology with 7 strategically placed edge serrations turns ice into powder! Steak Knife technology gives you incredible edge hold in all conditions.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
