The Whitewalker 116 is a powder twin tip ski specially developed for Sammy Carlson. It is light enough to hike with and stout enough to send on. It offers plenty of freestyle potential when needed and perfectly suits Sammy's relaxed, surf-inspired riding style.

Riding Style
A powder / freestyle ski for experts. Shape, design, profile and construction have been specially tuned to deliver the best performance in powder. Maximum floatation and manoeuvrability for the deepest snow, whether forward or switch.

Shape
This ski features a directional twin shape. The nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Therefore, the ski offers you the same riding characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose, you get more float in soft snow.

Profile
​The Armada Whitewalker 116 is based on a classic camber under the binding and an even rocker in nose and tail. This profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and groomers, good float in soft snow. The rocker in the nose and tail also creates a catch-free, loose feeling. Smear Tech is a 3D tip and tail shaping with an elongated, bevelled base. This makes the ski less likely to catch in crud, self-centering in deep snow and un-catchable on take-offs.

Flex
The stiff flex provides you with a lively ski that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.​

Construction
The AR75 Sidewall construction features a Cap construction in the tip and tail with a sidewall underfoot. The Cap construction in the tip and tail reduces the swing weight while the sidewall makes the ski more durable. The Caruba core offers premium performance at minimal weight. With its snappy, flexible feel, it is ideal for a wide range of applications. Caruba is a highly sustainable core material that regrows in a fraction of the time of poplar or ash wood. The Comp Series base is super robust and Armada's fastest base.
