The Hi construction of this truck allows you to use wheels with a larger diameter due to the increased distance from the axle pin to the deck. This also reduces the risk of unpleasant wheel bite and therefore lets you land your tricks more safely.

The width of the trucks should match the deck width. The skate truck is specified with either the hanger width or the truck width.
