Zog grew up in Orange County, California, and still lives in the area. After college, he opened a small surf shop and teamed up with chemist Nate Skinner to develop the formula for Sex Wax. Now I bet you're still wondering where the name Sex Wax comes from. It's simple, designer Hank Pitcher wanted to make a splash with the logo and name, and he thought it had a nice phonetic.
