Nuoceans transforms lost flip-flops from the oceans into colourful, vegan sandals – and shows how real value can be created from waste. The young European start-up works with Trash Hero Thailand to collect marine litter, shred it into colourful ‘confetti’ and mould it into its iconic midsoles. Combined with recycled cork, vegan straps and bio-based fibres, each pair is carefully handcrafted in Spain. Nuoceans proves that upcycling has style.
