The ultimate all-mountain shredder

A Directional Twin Tip shape, a Hybrid Camber profile with Surf Zones, combined with a poplar woodcore. These features make the Prodigy 2.0 soft yet poppy enough to butter the squishiest rollers and stiff enough to stand clean for one new trick after another. This ski is the ultimate shred tool for every all-mountain freestyler.

Riding style
All-mountain freestyle/park ski for advanced shredders. This ski comes with all the features you need as an ambitious park rider. However, the Directional Twin shape makes this ski very versatile, perfect for freestyle riding all over the mountain.

Shape
This ski comes with a Directional Twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Thus the ski offers you the same skiing characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose you get a little more lift in the soft snow. The Surf Zone technology combines a pointed tip and tail shape with the rocker profile. The tapered tips bring the widest part of the ski closer to the middle to avoid unwanted canting.

Profile
This ski comes with a classic camber under the binding and an even rocker in nose and tail. This profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and slope, good uplift in soft snow. The rocker in the nose and tail also creates an additional, loose, tilt-free riding experience.

Flex
The medium-hard flex provides precise control at high speeds with high responsiveness.

Construction
The poplar wood core offers good pop and flex as well as excellent vibration dampening. It also has enough torsional flex for impressive grip on the descent. The extra thick XL 2.5 mm edges are designed for hard use on rails, boxes and ledges. The micro-cap construction is a hybrid of a high-quality sandwich construction and a robust cap construction. This protects sensitive areas of the ski that may be prone to chipping.

Ein Ski der wirklich alles kann! Ich war auf der Suche nach einem All-Mountian Ski, der mir bei verschiedenen Bedingungen und in jedem Terrain maximalen Fahrspaß bietet. Egal ob auf der Piste, im Tiefschnee oder im Park - der Faction Prodigy 2.0 hat mich noch nicht im Stich gelassen.

Dieser All-Mountain Freestyle Ski ist ein wahres Multitalent. Ich fahre gerne bei allen Bedingunen und habe dafür genau diesen Ski ausgewählt. Zusammen mit der Atomic Shift MNC Bindung und dem K2 Mindbender 120 Skischuh kann ich damit auch problemlos Skitouren gehen. Der Ski bietet ein stabiles Fahrgefühl bei jeder Geschwindigkeit, ist aber auch weich genug für entspannte jibs und sprünge.

10/10! Ich würde den Ski jedem empfehlen, der überall am Berg Spaß haben möchte, aber nicht unbedingt mehrere verschiedene Setups kaufen möchte.

Sobre a Faction

Faction started out as a fun project for a group of shred happy ski bums in Verbier one winter. The group wanted to create skis that were affordable, could last 100+ days, survive without servicing and could be stowed away over summer and shine just as brightly once winter rolled around. Doing just that, they have seen great success over the last 12 years. They are united in their love for the mountains and the tools that allow them, us and you to escape there.
