Outer Boot
Get an instantly broken-in feel right out of the box. Total Comfort is an exclusive construction that eliminates the break-in period for a fit that feels just as good from day 1 to 100.
The Shrinkage™ Footprint Reduction Technology reduces the boot’s overall footprint in one full size, meaning men’s size 10 fits like a size 10 but has the footprint of a typical size 9. Shorter, lighter, sleeker - never suffer from toe drag again. All Burton boot tongues feature a snow-proof internal gusset construction to completely seal the lower zone of the boot, keeping feet warm and dry. The GripLITE Backstay is snugging up the fit between boot and highback, the rubber print backstays also shave weight and enhance material-to-material grip. The result of this printed rubber application is a more direct transfer from boot to binding to board for reduced rider fatigue. The firm flexing 1:1 PowerUP Tongue provides an increased response with great rebound and durability.
EST® goes beyond bindings by optimizing the soles on select boots for a more direct connection. Lower-profile, lighter weight, and with a reduced ramp angle, the EST® Midsole lowers your centre of gravity and improves feel. All without sacrificing an ounce of cushioning thanks to ultra-dampening B3 Gel inserts. B3 Gel is the ultimate dampening that’s formulated to withstand repeated impacts without breaking down or hardening up in cold temps. Liner
The heat-moldable Imprint™3 Liner with DRYRIDE Heat Cycle® comes with a Level 2 Molded EVA Footbed with ESS Support Shank and antimicrobial coating. Boosting heel-hold by hugging that sweet spot around your ankle, the Focus Cuff rides slightly higher on your ankle for increased response.

Lacing System
The Photon Boa® boots features Dual Zone Boa® System and the virtually indestructible, warrantied for life performance of Burton‑exclusive New England Rope laces. Built with a redesigned inner Coiler spool to route the laces, the dial‑it‑in system retains its quick, easy, and effective lace adjustment. Natural fibre ropes equal a more natural flex and feel for greater all‑day comfort. The dual-zone set‑up quickly loosens or tightens with simple twists of the Boa® dial. A Burton-exclusive upgrade to Boa®, Lockdown Lacing increases heel hold by integrating three distinct lacing zones with a single crank-able dial. Tightening all zones (upper, lower and heel/Achilles) both rapidly and simultaneously results in a secure and consistent fit throughout the boot with greater hold in the heel pocket for an overall more comfortable feel.
