I chose this product from the aesthetic point of view. Simple all black design without excessive big logos. The helmet fits good, but I can only squeeze a super thin hood under. I would prefer to ride with a beanie, so a bigger size might have been smarter but this will surely do me good as well.
I have tried the helmet all around the mountain, but for me, it performs best around the slopes. Since you cannot close the ventilation holes, things might get moist and or cold in certain conditions. For normal resort shredding this is great though, especially when the weather warms up - spring shredding?!
For this price point, the helmet is as good as it gets. It's light, straps are great but for powder days in the back country, I will still stick with my Oakley Mod 5!
I do recommend this helmet for resort and park riding but for the deep stuff I prefer closed vents option that my other helmet offers.

A time came for me to update my helmet, and I got recommended to try out this exact model. It feels great and doesn't look like a mushroom. It's not tough for the wallet either, but that is not where to focus when choosing a helmet. It is super light and still protects from impacts as any other. This helmet does not have any adjustment possibilities on the cushion that covers your ears. This did not bother me since I ride without the cushion and wear my goggles under the helmet. This brings me to the size selection.
Medium size fits me perfectly IF I don't wear a beanie or goggles under the helmet. However, I tried the helmet with mentioned products underneath and came to a conclusion that I need a size bigger which in this case is L/XL. The bigger is more comfortable with beanie and goggles under. The helmet comes with changeable interior, one thicker than the other, so I can change them if the helmet starts squeezing too much, or if I want to put the cushion back on and ride without a beanie or goggles underneath.
If you're looking to buy a quality helmet which doesn't cost a fortune and looks neat, I recommend trying this one out.

Es ist mal wieder Zeit gewesen einen neuen Helm zu kaufen und da viel meine Wahl auf den TSG Gravity Solid Color. Er sitzt eng, aber nicht störend am Kopf.
Da ich nicht mehr so extrem unterwegs bin, ist der Helm der perfekte Begleiter für den ganzen Berg. Ich habe den Helm in unterschiedlichen Resorts bei fast jedem Wetter getestet. Die Belüftung ist sehr gut und das Gitter verhindert das Eindringen von Schnee wenn man es doch mal etwas wilder angeht, oder sich zerschmeisst.
Für mich ist wichtig, dass der Helm gut sitzt aber nicht stört, und durch die Polster kann man ihn noch individualisieren. Auch passt er sehr gut zu meiner Brille. Preisleistung stimmt bei dem Helm.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Helm, auch wenn er etwas kleiner ausfällt, und empfehle ihn jedem der einen guten Helm zum günstigen Preis sucht.

Hi, ich bin Markus und arbeite seit 7 Jahren bei Blue Tomato. Schon über 27 Jahre lang ist meine große Leidenschaft das Ski fahren. Mein liebster Riding Style ist All-Mountain. Ich bin 193 groß und habe dieses Produkt in der Größe L/XL gekauft.
Ich habe mich für den TSG Helm entschieden, da ich großen Wert auf Komfort und Schutz lege. Ich fahre All-Mountain, also überall am Berg und brauche daher immer einen guten Schutz vor Stürzen. Den Helm habe ich in der Größe S/M gekauft, da ich in der Größe variabel sein möchte. So kann ich die S/M Polster so anpassen, dass der Helm perfekt sitzt.
Ich bin den Helm in Schladming auf der Planai gefahren. Egal ob im Park oder auf der Piste der Helm sitzt wie angegossen. Mit Hilfe der herausnehmbaren Innenpolster, kann man sich den Helm auf die gewünschte Form anpassen, und somit Druckstellen vermeiden. Wenn es richtig kalt ist, trage ich ein Balaclava drunter, welches auch hier ohne Mühe unter den Helm passt. Das Schlichte Design passt zu jedem Outfit, das ich gefahren bin und die kleinen Details lassen das ganze sehr stylisch wirken. Die Innenpolster isolieren allerdings auch sehr gut und sorgen dafür, dass man immer einen warmen Kopf hat. Egal ob bei 0 oder -17 Grad. Der Verschluss lässt sich auch mit Fäustlingen extrem leicht und schnell öffnen.
Ich kann den Helm jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einem soliden Helm für einen entspannten Preis ist. Durch die Variabilität bei den Polstern findet man immer die richtige Größe für seinen Kopf.

Natürlich ist es immer von der Kopfform abhängig aber zusammen mit meinem Beine sitzt dieser Helm einfach perfekt ich kann ihn nur weiterempfehlen.
Sitz perfekt am Kopf , angenehm leicht, hält Sturm schön warm, durchdacht - absolut empfehlenswert
