The Nitro Magnum one of the best wide boards on the market. It was designed to ride like a normal width snowboard. Crafted for larger riders and bigger feet, this board design reduces toe and heel drag without compromising an ounce of performance or feel. The directional shape allows for more float in pow, while the dual degressive sidecut and Power Pods provide a carving sensation that you have never experienced before.
Riding Style
This wide board is suited for large riders and allows you to continue to step your game up all over the mountain. Best performance for deep carving turns on groomers, more float in powder.
Shape
The nose of the Directional Shape is slightly longer than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly set back towards the tail. This increases stability at higher speeds and float in powder. The Dual Degressive Sidecut blends a smaller radius in the centre with two larger radii in the tip and tail, making the board playful and easier to control.
Profile
Nitro's Cam-Out Camber is a traditional camber profile with early and smooth transitions into tip and tail. The result is a fun and responsive board that turns on the spot and is forgiving.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex (7/10) provides you with a lively board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.
Construction
The Powerlite Core is made of lightweight, selected poplar wood for massive pop and unrivalled stability at minimum weight. The Reflex Core Profile is a thinner core profile between your feet that improves handling and increases the torsional flex. Bi-Lite Laminates are engineered for unrivalled strength, powerful style and refined board-feel. Power Pods create an extended board width under the bindings, resulting in additional edge control, especially on hard and icy surfaces as well as simply less toe and heel drag for larger boots and flatter stance angles. The Sintered Speed Formula HD Base offers higher abrasion resistance, increased wax absorption and higher on-snow speeds.
