Gnu Asym Carbon Credit BTX 156 Snowboard
The asym all mountain freestyle twin
Many Gnu team riders choose the asymmetric Carbon Credit. Mervin’s park machine has been continuously improved since years and has thus matured into a technical miracle. Park and groomers and some pow turns afterwards - the Gnu Carbon Credit ensures a long season full of unforgettable days.
Riding Style
The Carbon Credit is a fun asymmetrical all-mountain freestyle twin for beginners and advanced riders.
Shape
The human body is asymmetric. Turn mechanics on the toe and heel side are completely different. Gnu builds in asymmetric balancing concepts to each side of your snowboard harmonizing with nature and creating a more efficient, less tiring, unreal ride. The Carbon Credit is constructed with Level 1 Asym: asymmetric wood core that has a softer flex on the heelside, and asymmetric sidecut, which means deeper sidecut on the heelside.
The Carbon Credit also features Magne-Traction® that provides unreal edge hold and turns ice into powder. The Serrated Steak Knife Technology consists of 7 strategically located and sized edge serrations that provide unreal edge hold and control in all conditions: entry serration, mild serration and deepest serrations between the feet.
Profile
The Carbon Credit comes with Original Banana profile - the best contour to learn on. It consists of a rocker between your feet and a mild camber outside your feet, giving you full contact and control in all conditions. The central rocker brings the middle of your board to life, adding float and edge hold while also improving carving and power. The mild camber out to the tip and tail builds in pop, stability, and control.
Flex
The soft-medium flex of this board provides a playful feeling that inspires jibbing and freestyle moves on every possible obstacle while giving you the pop you need to get on top of everything and the stability you need for charging hard on groomers.
Construction
The Asym Unreal G1 Construction features Paulownia Core, which is light, strong and poppy! The Tri-Ax / Bi-Ax Glassfibre is durable, light and poppy, while the Eco Sublimated Poly Topsheet is tough, sheds snow and adds traction. The Eco-Sublimated Co-Extruded Base is fast and easy to maintain. The UHMW 'Ultra High Molecular Weight' sidewalls, are made from a soy-based elastomer and are tough and speedy.
