The new Blizzard Rustler 11 is the ideal choice for anyone looking for a lightweight ski with excellent powder properties. Blizzard's new Litecore uses a combination of poplar, balsa and Paulownia wood to ensure stable driving at high speeds. Nevertheless, the ski feels light enough to provide it with a touring connection.
The Rustler 11 is designed for tours with slopes on unrivaled slopes where, due to its low weight, it shows perfect properties during ascent and provides the necessary amount of lift for powder days.
A waistline of 110mm and a directional shape enhance the impression of a true powder and backcountry skis. A setback of the binding naturally provides an additional amount of buoyancy.
For a true powder, of course, a rocker profile must not be missing with bent tail and nose and positive pretension under the binding.
A medium flex completes the package and makes the ski easy to ride in the big mountain area as well as on the slopes.
The light-wood core was pre-tensioned to give a biting and stable driving feeling. An additional Titanium layer in Blizzard's Carbon Flipcore DRT adds durability and edge retention while maintaining the lowest weight. Directional Carbon Fiber Inserts in the Nose and Tail give more maneuverability and less weight for off-piste off-piste.
