The Rome Blur stands for all-mountain precision and speed, maximum power for your favourite lines on and off the slopes
The Blur is the choice when you want a technical board that can ride the mountain with speed, precision and power. The combination of a Fusion camber profile, a tight sidecut and Dual Arc Turborods creates a responsive feel for deep turns and fast edge to edge performance. The Blur has the power and response for extreme turns and speeds, regardless of snow and slope conditions.
Riding Style
All-mountain/freeride for expert level riders - This aggressive board is perfect for experienced riders looking for a responsive deck for high-speed turns on the slopes and in the backcountry. This snowboard gives you the confidence and performance for expert level riding in every terrain.
Shape
The nose of the directional shape is slightly longer than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly set back towards the tail. This increases stability at higher speeds and the float in powder.
Profile
The Fusion Camber profile will not disappoint for all-mountain performance. With classic camber between the bindings and an even rocker in nose and tail, this profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and groomers, good float in powder.
Flex
The stiff flex provides you with a very responsive board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.
Construction
The Airpop Core Matrix features the responsive “pop” of poplar laminates with five integrated zones of ultra-light wood to reduce weight. TurboRods bring a new approach to loading ollies and building pop. Rome starts by milling channels into the board’s core, then they insert carbon rods that rest freely inside sleeves with a single point of attachment. The rod is anchored only towards the centre area of the board, leaving the outside tip of the rod to flex freely inside the sleeve. This means the TurboRods engage the tip and tail of the board to load maximum spring, creating a more active flex pattern and effectively self-dampening after pop occurs. The Sinterspeed Base is super fast. Ideal for gliding in cold powder and for hitting takeoffs at the right speed. Glasspack Impact Plates under the four corners of your bindings absorb and disperse energy before it has a chance to damage the core.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

About Rome
Rome SDS lives and breathes snowboarding and has done so since day one. Seeking to reestablish the true roots of snowboarding, Rome kicked off production is 2001. Their goal was to create a brand that "lives the values of snowboarding and innovates products that increase the one thing that matters most in snowboarding: fun." They have overshot their goal by miles, and as true snowboarders at heart, we are stoked to have them as a part of our team.
