Lib Tech JL Short Wide C3 147 Snowboard
Jamie's short wide weapon for tree runs and more
As the name suggests, the Short Wide is the short, wide board from the Jamie Lynn collection. Jamie has not only immortalised his artwork on this deck, but he also created his idea of a board with which he can rip the tightest tree runs and surf pow with the Lib Tech Crew. The Short Wide is the answer!
Riding Style
The Short Wide is a freeride board for intermediate and expert riders – Maximize performance in the world’s most fun conditions and blast through the woods with this agile, stable deck.
Shape
A Tapered Directional board is the best for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is longer and wider than the tail, giving you plenty of control in any terrain, and the stance is set back to help you float above the pow.
Profile
The C3 profile is a classic camber profile with a mild rocker between the bindings. This offers precise edge control from nose to tail and maximum stability for high airs and landings. The mild rocker makes the board a bit more playful and offers more float than conventional camber profiles.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex provides you with a lively board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.
Construction
The Original Power Construction OP is a very lightweight, environmentally nice and strong construction design of Lib Tech. The core consists of a strong Aspen and Paulownia, giving you a strong and light core with a crisp pop. Bi-ax and tri-ax fibreglass surrounds the core and adds the needed stiffness and durability. The Eco Sublimated TnT Base features a fast and low maintenance dual layered fluoro base material. Wax it or maybe skip a day. Birch Internal Sidewalls are placed along the sidewall of your board to add board control to the sandwich construction. Stronger, more pop, and more control. The UHMW Sintered Sidewalls are a Lib Tech innovation. Twice as sintered as any other sidewall. Tough, fast, hard, waterproof, handsome and light. NO TOXIC ABS! Due to the edges, which do not go throughout at tip and tail, these areas are protected by a UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection system to avoid damage. Finally, the Eco Sublimated Poly Topsheet features a tough and Eco-sublimated layer to complete the construction.
Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
