Whatever happens on the mountain - the Flagship can conquer it!

I chose this snowboard because I needed a really good allrounder for the entire mountain. I mostly ride in the backcountry and a bit on the slopes. For me it is important that a snowboard is well built and strong enough for my agressive riding style. With my 186cm and 84kg, plus a 45 shoe size I went for the 162w version which worked perfectly.
I managed to test the Flagship in some deep powder conditions as well as on icy slopes. I just love that I could set the bindings a bit back and the snowboard was amazing in powder riding. It floats without effort all the time thanks to the large taper in the front and it allows you complete control, even with taking full speed drops in between your line. Every landing is taken care of because of the stiffer construction of the board, even if you land too far on the tail. The sintered base meant that I was significantly faster than my friends and it is very easy to wax and take care of. On the slopes you get maximum control using the harder flex and big size of the snowboard. I enjoyed doing some high speed carving turns without even thinking about the snowboard letting me down.
In conclusion I would recommend this snowboard to a more advanced rider, looking for a fast charging stiff snowboard. You can take it with you on the mountain and never be dissapointed. Make sure you get the right size for you and the mountain can be destroyed with this beast.
