Blue Tomato All You Need Silver 8.5" Skateboard Deck

I have been skateboarding for over 14 years now and it's safe to say that I have tested out a few boards so far. I like to skate street, bowl, and sometimes downhill. For the first time, I wanted to try out a board as wide as 8.5" to use when skating downhill or in the bowl park. For reference, my shoe size is 9.5 US.

When I first mounted the board, I went on a quiet steep downhill track to see if I can feel the difference between the size I usually ride. I felt way more stable on the board, thanks to the medium concave and wide size. What I really enjoy is the high tail and nose, it gives you a lot of pop when needed. It's not the most important part but I do love the graphic and the design of the board which makes it just perfect for me.

I bought this deck to test the deck from the own brand. I am 175cm tall, weighing around 75kg and I am a street skater with goofy stance. Buying a skateboard is always challenging because you never know how long it'll last. I always pay attention to the shape and the concave. My foot size is a US 10 and I've been riding 8.5" decks for 4 years. Before I was skating 8.25" but I am more than happy with the slightly wider size.

I tested this skateboard deck in a skate park, on flat ground and in the streets. It felt fantastic and I just love the feeling of new deck under my feet. The concave could be a bit higher but that's just personal preference. The pop is not too bad but I had boards with more pop before. I combined the deck with a fresh MOB grip tape, bones wheels and bearings as well as independent trucks. The really convincing side of this product is the favourable price and I also like the design of it. Once, I broke two skateboards in one hour - Now I prefer buying cheaper boards just in case of snapping them too fast.

Good price, good shape but more pop would be nice. However, I can really recommend this deck to every skateboarder with foot size more than US 9. The 8.5" is perfect for the street but also for bowl riding. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or advanced skater, you'll be happy with this deck.

I ordered a 8.5 and i got a 8.25, there's zero concave and it feels like it's going to brake at any moment.
For 45 euros I expected more, the worst board I ever had.

Ich wollte mal das einfache und schlichte Blue Tomato Deck ausprobieren, ich fahre sonst schmaler Decks ,aber das 8.5er hat mich gereizt. Ich fahre sonst eher ein 8.25er bei einer Schuhgröße von 42

Es fährt sich relativ gut, das schlichte Design überzeugt. Ich fahre es im Park wie auch Street und Grundsätzlich ist es auch für beides gut geeignet. Das shape ist sehr klassisch, die concave soll eine Mid sein, könnte meiner Meinung nach aber ein bisschen mehr ausgeprägt sein. Leider ist es mir relativ schnell an der Tail und an der Nose gesplittert, was aber natürlich auch an meinem Fahrstil liegen kann. Ansonsten performt es ,vor allem für den Preis, ganz gut!

Preis Leistung stimmt hier voll und ganz, wenn man keinen großen Wert auf das Design legt und einfach etwas schlichtes, ohne Kompromisse sucht.
