Product description
Austen Sweetin's Brainchild in the Lib Tech line
Austen Sweetin has ridden nearly every board in the Lib Tech line, and with the Lib Rig, he has crafted an all-mountain snowboard that genuinely stands out. Steep slopes, deep powder, and long carves are all achievable with a board beneath your feet that delivers on its promises – guaranteed.
Riding style
Austen crafted this board to provide exceptional all-mountain performance. It is built for deep powder, steep faces, and hard slopes where you can carve your turns. Yet, even Austen appreciates a bit of freestyle and the occasional rail. All-mountain all the way!
Shape
The tapered directional shape is ideal for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is longer than the tail, allowing for more controlled turns in any terrain. The additional setback of the bindings provides the board with a significant uplift in powder. The Magne-Traction® technology enhances edge hold with its serrated edges, particularly revealing its full potential on icy slopes.
Profile
The Early Rise Directional Camber profile offers a continuous camber with a slight early rise in the nose. This provides absolute edge control from nose to tail and maximum stability for high airs and landings. The Early Rise makes the board more playful and offers more uplift than conventional camber profiles.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.
Construction
The Original Power Construction OP+ is a lightweight, environmentally friendly and durable construction design from Lib Tech. The core is made of Aspen and Paulownia wood. It's a perfect combination that is robust and scores with a lot of pop. The Eco Sublimated Poly Topsheet is sustainably produced, and recycled material was also used for the UHMW Sidewalls. To ensure your board suffers less in the park, it is protected by the UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection. The sintered base is fast and stays that way if you take good care of it.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
