Product description
Travis Rice's first choice for the Natural Selection
Travis Rice evolved the original Orca board into a high-performance snowboard built for freestyle riding in the backcountry. The Golden Orca's long nose and switch-friendly tail provide massive float, making it ideal for switch takeoffs and landings in deep powder. The directional C2x profile ensures stability while shredding the resort and enables quick turns in steep terrain.
Riding Style
Backcountry freestyle for advanced riders – Do you see untouched powder fields as snowparks with endless possibilities? Then this board is exactly what you need.
Shape
The Tapered Directional Shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The wider nose and narrower tail allow controlled turns in any terrain, while the setback stance provides exceptional float in powder. The Magne-Traction® technology with serrated edges ensures superior edge hold, especially excelling on icy slopes.
Profile
The C2x profile features a short rocker between the bindings and a pronounced camber underfoot. This combination delivers powerful edge hold from the camber zones, exceptional float and limitless freestyle action without catching an edge.
Flex
The medium-firm flex offers precise control, quick response, and a dynamic ride in all conditions.
Construction
The Firepower Construction is Lib Tech’s ultimate high-performance build—lighter, eco-friendly, and smoother. The core consists of 60 % Aspen and 40 % Paulownia, reducing weight and dampening vibrations. Basalt and Carbon X fibers enhance stability, responsiveness, and impact absorption. The Eco Sublimated Poly Topsheet is sustainably produced, while the UHMW sintered sidewalls are made from recycled materials. UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection protects the board from impacts, increasing durability – perfect for intense park sessions. The sintered base is fast and long-lasting.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
