Product description
An advanced design combined with the absolute best materials
The Apex Orca, designed by Travis Rice, boasts advanced construction and top-quality materials. Carbon and magnesium envelop a core of recycled PET plastic, paulownia, and aspen wood. A tight radius combined with a short, wide shape enables you to execute the deepest Euro carves without your toes touching the piste. The long nose and the "whale tail" provide ample room for creativity, whether in the backcountry or on the piste.
Riding style
This board is perfect for advanced riders who are always looking for pristine powder slopes and deep carving turns.
Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is longer and wider than the tail for the best float in powder. The bindings' setback provides additional support. The Magne-Traction® technology provides improved edge hold with serrated edges. They unfold their full potential, especially on icy slopes.
Profile
The C2x profile features a subtle rocker between the bindings, complemented by a significant camber beneath them. This combination provides excellent edge hold due to the camber areas and allows for good uplift and endless freestyle action without the risk of catching an edge, thanks to the rocker.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.
Construction
The Techno Pop Construction is Lib Tech's high-end build and comes with a lightweight, thin tip and tail profile and a durable carbon stiffener. The core is constructed from aspen, paulownia wood, and recycled PET plastic to minimise weight and reduce vibrations. For stiffness, Lib Tech employs a blend of carbon and magnesium fibres. Magnesium is twice as strong as traditional fibreglass, providing essential stiffness while ensuring maximum weight reduction. The sintered base is exceptionally fast but necessitates careful maintenance.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
