Size chart for Lib Tech - Men Snowboards

Designed in Jackson Hole to do what has never been done

Travis’ favourite Jackson Hole designed shapes in a lightweight, long lasting powerful HP Construction. Travis has done it all on this board: X-Games gold, Supernatural champion, That’s It That’s All, Art of Flight and “The Fourth Phase” insanity. This is a very versatile proven freestyle/freeride stick that will allow you to push your limits and be there when it’s all on the line but, is still fun and playful enough to be a perfect daily driver.

Riding Style
This board is suited for advanced, versatile riders that want to bring their freestyle riding to the whole mountain, with a board that has a strong and long lasting pop.

Shape
This snowboard comes in a Twin shape. Tip and tail are of equal width combined with a centred radial sidecut. The snowboard rides equally well in both directions with a focus on freestyle and freeride. The Magne-Traction serrated edges give great edge hold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and ice. They turn ice into powder.

Up to a length of 157W, the T Rice Pro HP comes with a  Blunted Jib Nose / Tail. The big advantage of this shape is that the board offers the same effective edge length as a bigger sized board with a standard Nose and Tail shape. Imagine if you'd cut the nose and tail of a board with 164 cm down to 161, the overall length gets shorter, but the effective edge length stays the same.
Above 161,5 cm, the board comes with a Pointy Nose. The big advantage here is an increased float and with better riding characteristics, especially in powder.

Profile
C2 means rocker between your feet combined with radial cambers out to the contact points on tip and tail. Precise perfection in turning, jibbing and unreal float in pow combined with a tip to tail control, power, and pop of camber.

Flex
The medium-stiff flex of the T. Rice HP provides stability at high speeds and insane amounts of control while offering you the power and flexibility you need to stomp big freestyle moves.

Construction
The 'Horsepower construction' HP is lighter than the 'Original Power Construction' OP, environmentally nicer due to the usage of bio beans and basalt fibre and offers an extremely smooth ride. The core consists of a strong Aspen spine with Columbian Gold on either side for a crisp pop and Paulownia on the toe and heel edges for the smoothest riding core with reduced weight and vibration. The combination of Bi-ax and Tri-Ax glass with eco volcanic basalt fibres surrounds the wood core and offers a lively and poppy ride. The sintered Base is compression hardened amorphous UHMW skived from the billet to create the toughest, fastest, best wax holding base material around. Slides best and fastest when waxed regularly to match local snow conditions. Birch Internal Sidewalls are placed along the sidewall of your board to add board control to the sandwich construction. Stronger, more pop, and more control. The UHMW Sintered Sidewalls are a Lib Tech innovation. Twice as sintered as any other sidewall. Tough, fast, hard, waterproof, handsome and light. NO TOXIC ABS! Due to the edges, which do not go throughout at tip and tail, these areas are protected by a 'UHMW Tip/Tail impact deflection' system to avoid damage. Finally, the Bio Beans Topsheet features a tough and eco-sublimated layer to complete the construction.

This board is also available in 'Wide' version. These are wider than normal boards and developed especially for snowboarders with large feet (EU size 44+) to avoid too much overhang of the boots. Wider boards also give you better float in powder.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
