Product description
Freestyle spirit with freeride genes
The Montano blurs the lines between freestyle and freeriding. As a tech-driven, all-mountain quiver killer, it's made for riders who want to use the whole mountain: it holds precise turns on the piste, stays relaxed on top in powder, and has enough fun in it for a few side hits along the way. That comes down to a custom wood core, two uniquely paired carbon fibreglass sheets and a volume-shifted shape.
Pop, float and control
A carbon mesh system with carbon inserts of different widths sits between the top and bottom fibreglass sheets, giving the board its responsiveness, stability and snap. The wider nose and slimmer tail boost float: the tail sinks slightly and lifts the nose, so you don't nosedive in deep snow. On top of that, the hybrid camber and rocker profile delivers explosive response between your bindings, while the flatter section towards the nose helps you float through powder and crud with confidence.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
