Product description
Asymmetrical freestyle performance for the park and the whole mountain
Inspired by snowboarders who see every slope—even a groomed run—as a freestyle playground, the Optisym is designed for creative riding. The asymmetrical twin shape provides maximum control for carving and shredding all over the mountain. A perfectly balanced all-mountain and park board for all the ladies who want to push their creativity on every ride.
Riding Style
A versatile all-mountain/park board for intermediate and advanced riders. The Cam-Out Camber profile delivers a playful feel while maintaining enough stability for high speeds—perfect for bigger kickers, rails, and fast groomers.
Shape
The True Twin shape is completely symmetrical, offering the same performance whether riding forward or switch. The asymmetrical sidecut features a tighter radius on the heel edge and a larger radius on the toe edge, making heelside turns easier and providing extra control in every carve.
Profile
Nitro's Cam-Out Camber features a classic camber profile with early and smooth transitions at the nose and tail. Consequently, it provides a fun and responsive board that allows precise turns while remaining forgiving.
Flex
The medium flex is ideal for this board's all-mountain design. It is stiff enough for powerful turns but still soft to keep a playful feel.
Construction
The Powercore II features a popular wood core combined with beech wood stringers, providing unmatched stability, smooth response, and incredible pop. The Whiplash Core Profile presents a thinner board profile between the bindings, with reinforced board ends to enhance maximum ollie power while allowing for a softer flex during presses. The Ureshred Sidewalls, crafted from polyurethane, are highly resistant to shock and abrasion, offering excellent damping properties. The recycled Railkiller Edge is twice as thick and strong as standard steel edges. The Sintered EcoSpeed HD Base delivers high abrasion resistance, improved wax absorption, and, consequently, more speed on snow. Additionally, this base includes a significant proportion of recycled post-industrial Ptex.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
