Product description
The Dispute dominates the mountain
The Dispute is the most versatile board in the Public lineup. Designed by Ben Bilodeau, this directional twin board features an Alert Camber profile and is equipped with top-notch technical features. Inlaid aramid strips and carbon stringers create a lightweight, powerful core that offers a responsive ride, while urethane sidewalls provide added impact protection.
Riding style
An all-mountain/freestyle board for advanced riders – do you want to have fun all over the mountain? This board can do it all, from kickers and rails in the park to deep powder in the backcountry.
Shape
The directional twin shape provides more float in soft snow and superior forward and switch performance. The nose becomes slightly longer due to the slight offset of the bindings towards the tail (setback). However, the shape of the nose and tail remains symmetrical.
Profile
The Alert Camber profile is a traditional camber profile with a slight rocker in the nose and tail. As a result, you get a fun and responsive board that enables pinpoint turns yet is forgiving.
Flex
The medium flex is ideal for the all-mountain design of this board. Stiff enough for powerful turns but still soft enough for a playful ride
Construction
The poplar core is made of 100 % FSC-certified wood. Due to its unbeatable stability-to-weight ratio, poplar is the most commonly used wood species for snowboard cores. Public uses urethane sidewalls with better damping properties than the industry standards ABS and P-Tex. A 20 mm-wide carbon fibre stringer running from tip to tail increases pop and response without increasing torsional flex. Aramid stringers are strategically placed in a V-pattern in the tip and tail for better durability, dampening, and a dose of extra pop. When properly maintained, the sintered base ensures maximum speed and durability, staying fast even after heavy park and street sessions.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
