The powder machine from Salomon
If anyone has a clue about Pow, it's Annie Boulanger. And if she's in the Whiteroom with the Pillow Talk, it's for a reason. Wool Nyvelt had its fingers in the pie during this powder miracle and you can see that. The Pillow Talk screams with every centimetre for treeruns and untracked faces.
Riding style
Freeride - always on the lookout for untracked slopes and love to surf through the woods? Then this is the right board for you!
Shape
Twin with taper: the Pillow Talk makes riding through powder and hard snow simply amazing thanks to its tapered twin form. The stance is medium, within the effective edge, and the tail is drawn in slightly to support the float. The Quadralizer Sidecut is an explosive combination of Equalizer and Quadratic Sidecut, which allows carving at high speed and provides excellent edge hold in tight corners.
Profile
The Rock Out Camber is flat between the bindings for stability, camber close to the feet for reactivity and a rocker on the tip and tail for 1a presses.
Flex
A medium flex is just right if you like fast runs and stable landings. And what's more, you can still easily butter and press.
Construction
The sintered EG base is designed for super fast gliding on all types of snow, from fresh powder snow to sultry spring snow. Salomon increases the natural snap and pop of the wood core with a specially shaped Popster core profile. The components of the Ghost Green core have been selected and developed to optimize pop and reduce weight while at the same time utilizing the sustainable properties of super light paulownia wood.
