All-mountain downhill performance, for the highest speeds in powder and on the slopes - the Salomon Speedway

The Salomon Speedway is a very responsive and stiff board for the modern, high-speed downhill rider. It comes with a Directional Tapered shape and a Backseat Camber profile for edge control and power on groomers with a great float in the powder. The ultra-light core construction plus Salomon specific C/FX fibres work together to provide the lightest feel and performance.

Riding Style
All-mountain/freeride for experts - If you want to shred the steepest lines and some double black diamonds with maximum speed and precision, get the Speedway.

Shape
Tapered Directional board is the best for all-mountain freeriding. The nose is a bit wider than the tail, giving you plenty of control in any terrain. The stance is set back towards the tail, increasing the length of the nose. This helps you to float above the pow. The Quadratic Sidecut is a blend of elliptic curves for easy turn initiation, effortless direction changes and fluid edge to edge transitions.

Profile
The Backseat Camber profile features a classic camber under the back foot for explosive turns and a flat camber under the front foot for better float in the powder. Precision and control for hard snow and good floatation in soft snow, without any unwanted vibration at higher speeds.

Flex
The stiff flex provides stability at high speeds and insane amounts of control while offering you a very responsive and precise feeling with loads of pop.

Construction
The Sintered EG Base is engineered for a super fast glide in everything from fresh pow to sticky spring snow. Popster is a specially shaped core profile, to maximize the natural snap and pop of the board. The Ghost Green Core components have been selected and designed to optimize pop and reduce weight while utilizing sustainable attributes of a superlight paulownia wood.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
