A burly daypack with just the right amount of space to haul your daily essentials, Patagonia's tough and highly weather-resistant Black Hole® Pack protects your gear from scuffs, scrapes and miles of rough handling. The large main pocket holds the lion’s share, with an internal padded sleeve that protects most 15" laptops or holds a hydration reservoir, and a mesh pocket equipped with a key keeper and an organizer panel to hold your phone and small items. The bucket opening replaces a traditional lid and contains a small stash pocket that seals with a reverse-coil zipper. Daisy chain lash points secure a skateboard or yoga mat, and a stealthy zippered front pocket holds quick-access items. With padded shoulder straps for comfort and a molded back panel that sheds moisture and allows a cooling airflow.

Very good

There are backpacks that are great for everyday use and there are backpacks you can use for travel. But there are not a lot of backpacks that would be great for both - The Patagonia Black Hole 32L Backpack is one of those. For me the most important thing when buying a backpack is its durability and practicality. It is also the perfect size to take with you on a plane or to put it on the back when riding the bike to work.

The backpack excels with its cool style, easy accessibility, waterproofness and most importantly the perfect and comfortable fit. There are basically no down sides with it. Maybe the glossy finish could catch some scratches easier than if it would be mat. Compared to other backpacks I previously owned, the Patagonia backpack is one of the best I ever had.

I would recommend the backpack to anyone looking for a travel and/or everyday backpack that would last for years.
