With the Swisswool Verbier Jacket, you won’t be following the masses, you’ll be going your own way. At the Swisswool Black Line, Ortovox process the rare wool of black sheep from the Swiss Alps. Inspired by these wild four-legged creatures, this line stands for individuality and maximum protection on icy days of freeriding.
The jacket is protected by the new PERTEX® QUANTUM PRO material, which has been made even more weather resistant thanks to its PU coating. Two-layered DERMIZAX® NX membrane inserts in the shoulders ensure stability and protection.
Fine merino wool in the chin area provides additional wearing comfort. Small items that are needed quickly when freeriding can be easily stowed in the two backpack-compatible front pockets, the inner pocket or the ski pass pocket.
Ortovox came to life with the invention of the first double frequency transceiver to aid in avalanche victim searches. With their passion for keeping skiers and snowboarders safe, Ortovox has grown into one of the biggest producers of avalanche safety gear on the market. In 1995 they added merino underwear to their selection, and we have been hooked ever since!
