Size chart for Lib Tech - Men Splitboards

LIB TECH HAS CREATED THE PERFECT SPLITBOARD FOR THIS YEAR

Easy ascent: Light, thin tips, an ultra-light paulownia wood core and an Early Rise C3 camber profile make every ascent as easy as possible.

High-performance descents: The extended nose and Early Rise C3 camber profile improve lift in powder. The bent up tail improves manoeuvrability for switch tricks in difficult terrain and offers freedom for creative freestyle moves. The Karakoram Ultra Clips are lightweight, made of stainless steel and easy to use, with maximum compression and minimal seam shear or chatter. 3D-integrated clip insert brackets eliminate the need for T-bolts. The fast TNT base comes in a highly visible orange safety graphic.

Riding style
The Split BRD was developed for snowboarders who expect exactly the same riding experience from a splitboard as from their regular deck. It offers you absolutely solid freestyle performance in the backcountry.

Shape
The directional shape ensures float for trips out into the powder, offers stability and control and guarantees pop. The taper means the nose is wider than the tail and promotes smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed and enhanced deep snow flotation. The larger volume in the front area allows you to make effortless turns in deep and soft snow and increases the float enormously. The Magne-Traction®  technology with its wavy edges provides more grip no matter where you are on the mountain, especially on packed snow and icy spots. They turn ice into powder.

Profile
With the C3 Performance Hybrid Camber, Lib Tech has introduced a camber that should have been there from the very first powder day. Pronounced, dominant camber outwards towards the contact points with a flattened rocker between the feet. The light banana rocker between the legs gives the board enough clearance for freestyle tricks, floatation and incredible board control in the backcountry. The nose is raised further towards the feet, creating the forgiving, loose feel you would expect from the rocker.

Flex
A medium flex is just right if you like fast runs and stable landings. And what's more, you can still easily butter and press.

Construction
The Split Construction SC comes with a light, thin tip and tail combined with a core of aspen and light paulownia wood. Bi- and triaxial fibreglass composite surrounds the wood core and provides the necessary stiffness and durability. The TNT base is solid, fast and virtually maintenance-free. This is made from two layers of special fluoro material and can also cope well with the odd day without wax. Birch internal sidewalls are placed along the sidewalls of your board for added control of the overall sandwich construction. Stable, more pop and more control. The UHMW sintered sidewalls are another innovation from Lib Tech. The double sintered construction allows for a waterproof, strong and resistant construction without toxic ABS. Last but not least, a topsheet made of organic beans forms the final layer and completes the construction.
