The playful charger for all-mountain freeridng and freestyle - the Jones Dream Catcher

There is nothing better than catching first tracks in your home resort. The Dream Catcher is Jones' women's all-mountain board made for snagging those fresh fantasy turns. Featuring a directional freeride shape and a friendly flex, the Dream Catcher is stable, confidence inspiring, yet soft enough to be playful in every terrain.

Riding style
This board is designed to shred the entire mountain in the most playful way possible, without sacrificing high-speed, line-bombing stability. Ideal for all-mountain freeriding and freestyle.

Shape
This Directional Shape will provide you with some extra float in the white room. In deep snow the blunted nose makes sure that less snow comes over the sides of your nose, as that would obviously slow you down. This also means you get the benefits of a longer traditional nose, without the extra weight. Edges like a serrated knife slicing into the snow, Traction Tech improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of your board. At the far ends of the progressive sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the sidecut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.

Profile
Directional Rocker- A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern defined by more tip rocker then tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rockered tip floats the board’s nose and improves manoeuvrability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response. A slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board but helps keep the tail catch-free initiating turns and landing switch.

Flex
A medium flex (6/10) will ensure a precise response, yet with enough flex to be playful in any terrain.

Construction
The full wood premium poplar Power Core offers fun pop, even flex and solid durability. A dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched Biax fibreglass laminate provides a fun, forgiving and snappy ride. The Sintered 7000 Base is made out of a durable natural base material with added carbon for speed and good wax absorbency. The ECO-Plastic Topsheet is a bio-plastic topsheet made from Castor beans. This eco-material is ultralight, chip/scratch resistant and water/snow repellent (snow sticks less to the topsheet). All Jones boards are made with oversized recycled steel edges for added durability and improved production sustainability. Stainless Steel plates are embedded into the nose and tail of this board for improved board tip strength. The ABS Sidewall material is made of 100 % recycled material. Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with WEND natural wax as well as factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountain. By flip flopping the base graphic colour, P-Tex waste is drastically reduced by increasing the material yield.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
