Product description
Get ready for the Cameleon - versatile freeride board by Bataleon
Long turns on the piste, effortlessly gliding through powder and everything in between - the new Bataleon Cameleon is crafted for relaxed days on the mountain and the best vibes. Despite its laid-back characteristics, it still incorporates the finest Bataleon technology.
The Ultra Light Core combined with Carbon Strips delivers a responsive ride, while the Tri-Ax laminate adds the necessary pop. A high nose uplift provides exceptional lift in powder, and the medium camber ensures control the Cameleon – your new snowboard for nearly any terrain and all conditions.
Riding style
The Cameleon can do just about anything. It feels most at home during long descents in powder and whilst traversing on and off the pistes at the resort. However, you can also take a couple of park runs with you to enjoy.
Shape
The Cameleon features Directional 3BT™, a directional shape with a taper. The setback provides extra pressure on the tail. SideKick™ tips enhance edge uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail, allowing for even easier turn initiation, improved float, and better handling in challenging terrain.
Profile
The Directional 3BT™ has a slightly narrower centre base than the Bataleon Twins, but it has more edge length between the feet and a medium camber. The high-flared nose additionally increases the float in powder.
Flex
The Cameleon offers a medium flex, representing the golden mean and highlighting the versatility of this board.
Construction
The Ultra Light Core, composed of 70 % poplar wood and 30 % paulownia, is sandwiched between layers of triaxial fibreglass. This configuration provides excellent press and pop characteristics, along with swift manoeuvrability. Carbon reinforcements are installed centrally from insert to insert, offering enhanced torsional stiffness, edge hold, and pop. The sintered Ultra Glide S base is quick and maintains its speed when properly looked after.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
