Size chart for Rome - Men Snowboards

The Rome Ravine is designed to ride every aspect of the mountain, from fast groomer runs to technical powder lines

Rome designed the Ravine to explore every mountain terrain, whether it is at your favourite resort or deeper in the backcountry. With a Free- The-Ride camber profile and a directional shape, the Ravine is crafted for fully-powered groomer runs and those bottomless secret pow spots.

Riding Style
All-mountain/freeride for advanced level riders - This aggressive board is perfect for experienced riders looking for a versatile deck for high-speed turns on the slopes and in the backcountry. No matter the terrain or snow condition, this is your everyday resort and backcountry performer.

Shape
The nose of the directional shape is longer than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly set back towards the tail. This increases stability at higher speeds and the float in powder. A tapered shape means the nose is wider than the tail, this enhances deep snow flotation.

Profile
The Free-The-Ride Camber profile features a positive camber in the tail, a flat section at the front binding, and a rocker in the nose. The positive camber section offers pop and edge control. The flat section allows for a fast and effortless turn initiation. The rocker in the nose increases the float in pow.

Flex
The medium-stiff flex provides you with a lively board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.

Construction
HotRods are thin, hollow tubes of carbon, bamboo or fibreglass, inserted into milled channels in the core of the board. The flex and pop can thus be precisely placed and changed. With this technology, the ollie pop can be increased without making the board stiffer overall. The Pop Core Matrix features two zones of ultra-lightweight wood converge with a body of snappy responsive poplar for a buttery yet high-powered flex. The sintered base is an industry standard for quality base materials. Provides a moderate balance between the speed created by a hard surface and good wax absorption.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

About Rome

Rome SDS lives and breathes snowboarding and has done so since day one. Seeking to reestablish the true roots of snowboarding, Rome kicked off production is 2001. Their goal was to create a brand that "lives the values of snowboarding and innovates products that increase the one thing that matters most in snowboarding: fun." They have overshot their goal by miles, and as true snowboarders at heart, we are stoked to have them as a part of our team.
