    Product description

    The return of the Recon

We’ve all had that one board that turns perfectly, stays stable on hardpack, and floats effortlessly through deep powder. When redesigning the Recon, the goal was to create a versatile board that excels in every situation, from high-speed carves on groomers to deep turns in the backcountry.

    Riding Style
An all-mountain/freeride board for advanced riders. Built for versatility with a strong performance for high-speed turns on groomers and maximum float in powder.

    Shape
The directional twin shape provides a balanced blend of versatility and freeride performance. The nose is slightly wider than the tail, while the binding position remains centred. This ensures identical riding characteristics in both directions, while the wider nose enhances float in soft snow.

    Profile
The traditional camber profile features continuous positive camber from nose to tail, delivering maximum stability, precise edge hold, and powerful pop. It is perfect for riders who prefer a direct, controlled, and aggressive ride.

    Flex
The medium flex makes the board stiff enough for powerful turns yet flexible enough for a playful and responsive ride.

    Construction
The SuperSnap GnarLEcore™ FSC-certified poplar/beech wood core provides a lightweight yet durable construction with plenty of pop. The Flylight Hybrid™ biaxial/triaxial fibreglass construction enhances durability and responsiveness, while the Booter Boosters™ Aramid stringers with carbon reinforcement add extra stability and explosive pop in the nose and tail. The Forumula8™ sintered base ensures exceptional speed and wax retention, keeping the board fast even after long sessions.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
