Camel Toes not only dwell on beaches and in yoga studios
This Camel Toe is to be found in the steepest mountains in the deepest snow - sorry, ON the deepest snow, to be correct. Cause this directional surf-inspired board floats on powder like on clouds while its unique Pow 3BT makes carving at high speeds just as smooth as it can be.
Riding Style
The Camel Toe is a dedicated powder board. Steep untouched lines, high speeds and nipple deep snow are its favourites. But this board is so awesome, you can even carve on-piste without getting in trouble.
Shape
A unique board needs a unique shape, and here's the Pow 3BT. The Camel Toe has a directional shape with a tapered tail that forms kind of a swallowtail. Setback inserts provide additional surfy riding. The new SideKick Tips increase the edge uplift on the widest points of nose and tail for easier turn initiation, more float and better handling in rough terrain.
Profile
Pow 3BT has the narrowest centerbase in the range. The sidebases of the tip are uplifted much higher than those of the tail. The Mellow Camber allows plenty of edge hold and carving fun despite all that floatiness.
Flex
The Camel Toe's flex is rather medium stiff. The unique and powerful Pow 3BT shape allows you to ride a powder board slightly softer than most of the comparable boards out there.
Construction
A poplar and paulownia wood core is sandwiched with bi-axial fiberglass. This means massive stability and fast manoeuvrability. The extruded Super Slick X base is very durable, fast and requires almost just minimal care.
Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
