The moulded polyurethane footbed and the patented ImpactSorb® heel pad provide outstanding cushioning on the skateboard and withstand even the toughest impacts. Thanks to PopCush™ technology, your foot stays close to the board, ensuring maximum board feel and optimal shock absorption.
In 1966, Paul van Doren produced the first shoe soles twice as thick as their predecessors. He used pure crepe rubber without any fillers, so it wasn't long before skaters began to appreciate the qualities. Board feeling, good damping properties, and perfect grip – Vans was born.
