    Product description

    Retro design meets modern technology

Unleash the full potential of your imagination with the Départ 1.0. Step into the future of freestyle, where limitations are a thing of the past and your creativity knows no bounds. With its retro-inspired design and features such as a karuba / poplar wood core and extra-wide steel edges, the Départ 1.0 truly reflects freestyle skiing culture.

    Riding Style
An all-mountain freestyle / park ski for advanced shredders. The versatile shape combined with a hybrid camber profile makes this ski perfect for freestyle riding in any terrain. Whether park, piste or backcountry.

    Shape
This ski features a directional twin shape. The nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Therefore, the ski offers you the same riding characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose, you get more float in soft snow.

    Profile
Camber under the binding and rocker in nose and tail make this profile perfect for any terrain. It delivers precision and pop for park and piste, as well as good float in soft snow. The rocker in nose and tail also creates a loose, edge-free ride.

    Construction
The Karuba / poplar wood core is very light and makes for a reliable and responsive ski with excellent pop. An edge-to-edge Titanal insert under the binding increases power and improves edge grip on firm snow.

    Features
    • Directional twin shape
    • Camber profile with tip and tail rocker
    • Karuba / poplar wood core
    • Wide steel edges
    • Titanal binding reinforcement

    More information

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
