Inspired by the Prodigy 4.0, the Faction Prodigy 3.0 shares the same shape, construction and materials as its big brother. Meaning that it grips when carving up corduroy or slush, and has the right amount of pop and dampness to boost that backcountry kicker and charge down the tracked-out landing. This ski is playful, solid and versatile enough to do it all, in style.
An all-mountain freestyle/powder ski for advanced riders. Shape, design, profile and construction have been designed to deliver the best performance in powder. At the same time, it is playful enough for freestyle riding in the backcountry, no matter if you drop cliffs, jump kickers or land switch in powder. But it also won't let you down if you carve down the slopes.
This ski comes with a directional twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail with a central binding position. Thus, the ski offers the same riding characteristics forward and switch. However, due to the slightly wider nose, you get a bit more float in the soft snow. The Surf Zone tech combines a tapered tip and tail shape with the Rocker profile. The tapered tips move the widest part of the ski closer to the centre to prevent unwanted hooking.
This Ski comes with a classic camber under the binding and an even rocker in nose and tail. This profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and groomers, good float in deep snow. The rocker in the nose and tail also creates a catch-free, loose feeling.
The medium-stiff flex provides you with a lively ski that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.
The Poplar/Ash core provide a chatter-free ride on hard snow, a solid base for stomping landings and more than enough pop and flex to get creative with. An innovative, biaxial layup of Flax Fibres ensures excellent dampening characteristics and is adding all the stiffness and torsional stability you could want from an eco-friendly material. The Micro-cap construction is a hybrid of a premium, sandwich sidewall construction and a durable cap construction. This protects fragile areas of the ski that can be prone to chipping.
This ski does not come with bindings. We recommend a pair of bindings with a brake from 5 up to 10 mm wider than this ski. Please feel free to contact our customer service if you have a question about binding compatibility.
If you buy skis and bindings together we can mount them for you free of charge. For further information check our FAQs.
Please note that adult bindings cannot be combined with kids skis (and vice versa).
