The Faction Prodigy 1.0 is a new-school park ski with a bombproof construction, perfect for every do-it-all park shredder

The 90 mm waist, combined with 3 mm of camber, has plenty of pop and flex while maintaining real performance on the downhill. Rebelling against the symmetrical park ski tradition, the directional shape of the Prodigy 1.0 ensures that you have more control throughout your turn, whether that’s carving in switch to a 40-foot booter or hand-dragging over a knuckle.

Riding style
All-mountain freestyle/park ski for intermediate to advanced level skiers. This ski comes with all the features you need as an ambitious park rider. The directional shape makes this ski also very versatile, perfect for freestyle riding anywhere on the whole mountain. 

Shape
This ski comes with a directional twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail with a central binding position. Thus, the ski offers the same riding characteristics forward and switch. However, due to the slightly wider nose, you get a bit more float in the soft snow. The Surf Zone tech combines a tapered tip and tail shape with the Rocker profile. The tapered tips move the widest part of the ski closer to the centre to prevent unwanted hooking.

Profile
This Ski comes with a classic camber under the binding and an even rocker in nose and tail. This profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and groomers, good float in soft snow. The rocker in the nose and tail also creates a catch-free, loose feeling. 

Flex
The medium-stiff flex provides you with a lively ski that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.

Construction
The poplar core allows the ski to pop, butter and stomp like a park ski and also have enough torsional stability to grip impressively on the downhill. The Extra thick XL 2.2 mm edges are built to handle heavy use on rails, boxes and ledges. The Micro-cap construction is a hybrid of a premium, sandwich sidewall construction and a durable cap construction. This protects fragile areas of the ski that can be prone to chipping.

Flat Ski Binding Compatibility

This ski does not come with bindings. We recommend a pair of bindings with a brake from 5 up to 10 mm wider than this ski. Please feel free to contact our customer service if you have a question about binding compatibility.
