Armada ARV 116 JJ UL - the ski for creative big-mountain/freestyle riders

The Armada ARV JJ UL floats like a butterfly and cuts like a butter knife for maximum big mountain freestyle performance. The ski is 25% lighter than the original JJ. The ARV JJ UL utilizes Armada's lightest Caruba wood core to create a uniquely lightweight and smooth ride.

Riding Style
Backcountry freestyle for intermediate to advanced level riders - You consider the backcountry as a snowpark with unlimited possibilities? Then this ski is the right choice for you.

Shape
This ski comes with a directional twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail with a central binding position. Thus, the ski offers the same riding characteristics forward and switch. However, due to the slightly wider nose, you get a bit more float in the soft snow.

Profile
This ski comes with a classic camber under the binding and a rocker in the nose and tail. The enormous float of the rockered tips improves manoeuvrability in deep snow while the camber underfoot provides edge hold, pop and response.

Flex
The medium-stiff flex provides you with a lively ski that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.

Construction
The AR75 Sidewall construction features a Cap construction in the tip and tail with a sidewall underfoot. The Cap construction in the tip and tail reduces the swing weight while the sidewall makes the ski more durable. The Caruba core is Armada's lightest wood species and creates the best up-hill feel while retaining the power and dampness required in descending the gnarliest of terrain. The S7 Base is durable and requires low maintenance, and comes with a speed additive for quickness.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
