The 2018 line has been reworked from the tip all the was back down to the tail, and its the prood that Rossignol have entered a new era of innovation which started with the development of the AirTip 2.0 technology. The new AirTip 2.0 tip is even lighter and more robust for more stability, playfulness and float. It has a reinforced 3D structure and is completely integrated into the middle of the ski, so that the ski is denser at its centre of gravtiy and lighter at the ends. The intuative manuverablity reduces the amount of power needed, gives better control and a feeling of lightness. The new AirTip 2.0 tip has a revolutonal design.
Carbon Alloy Matrix
The Carbon Alloy Matrix was developed in order to reach the highest amount of power, stability and adhesion. Its the forerunner in the new generation of revolutionary fibers. The material is the unique and carefully balanced combination of carbon and basalt connected with glasfibers in a whole new way. This combination gives the ski power and stability but at the same time it makes it dynamic and light and it ensures maximum vibration absorbtion and it gives the ski a balanced flex from the tip to the tail.
Light Wood Core
The Sleek 7 is built with an extermely robust core made out of Paulownia wood which lowers the weight of the ski by 15% and makes it more playful, lighter and more manuverable. The technology has been developed with touring fans in mind who are looking for continuous performance for the walk up as well as for the ride down.
Power Turn Rocker
This ski was built for deep off-piste sessions. The progressive Rocker-/Camber-Pro I makes the ski extremely versatile and make for smooth, effortless float. The combination between a elongated, light rocker and a traditional camber is a real winner.
