Elastic, breathable, lightweight jacket for ski tours

Functional and sustainable: thanks to the use of selected materials and its athletic cut, the ISPO Award Winner Col Becchei Jacket for women is ideal for demanding ski tours in alpine terrain.
For the main material, Ortovox used tried-and-tested Merino Naturetec Light with soft merino wool on the inside and protective polyamide on the outside. Inserts made from high-performance Schoeller® mesh offer protection against the elements and are extremely breathable, as the intelligent C_Change membrane opens its polymer structure when the body overheats and closes it when it cools down. Air pockets in the fabric also provide optimum insulation against the cold. All materials are PFC-free - for the sake of your health and the environment.
This ski touring jacket features an athletic cut and provides unbelievable freedom of movement thanks to the use of extremely elastic materials. A tight-fitting hood protects the head from the cold and fits easily under a helmet for alpine activities. Ventilation zippers under the arms ensure additional cooling during the ascent, while elastic sleeve cuffs keep out drafts and snow. The pockets are backpack-optimized to make access easy at all times.

C_Change membrane by Schoeller®
This active membrane is not just wind and waterproof, but also "intelligent". Like a pine cone that opens when it's warm outside and closes when the temperature falls, the membrane also reacts immediately to sweat build-up with special moisture and temperature management. This means the membrane's molecular structure can adapt to different temperatures. If the body becomes too hot, the polymer structure opens in order to regulate temperature and sweat production. If it's cold, the polymer structure closes. This mechanism results in insulation properties that are directly matched to the wearer's body temperature and the environmental temperature.

Merino Naturetec Light
The merino wool is directly woven together with the material from Schoeller® to create the Merino Naturetec Light fabric. This combination of merino wool and durable polyamide is extremely robust and elastic - making it ideal for high-action sports. The merino wool on the skin ensures good wear comfort and an ideal personal microclimate, while the polyamide provides protection against wind and light precipitation.
