Outer boot
The Armored Spine is an anatomically shaped and 3D moulded heel reinforcement that provides even boot flex and long-lasting heel fit. Flex Link Design consists of a flexible panel between upper and lower shell that ensures an even flexing, responsive boot without bulk.
The Therminator Shield layer between sole and liner will reflect your body heat and keep your feet warm all day.
Inner boot
The Cloud 9 Liner is precision moulded for the ultimate in fit and comfort. This new flagship liner combines ultra lightweight Thermacell material with comfort and fit. The signature latex heel pads provide lifetime heel fit, while the clutch tongue makes boot entry and exit easier. The liner features an additional power strap for a snug fit on top and a triple density footbed with air bag for maximum cushioning and comfort. The D3O® Technology absorbs energy in the ankle area.
The Cloud 9 Liner comes with a Pre-molded Thermacell Material for perfect out-of–the box fit, a Hi-heel frame for more response and a precise fit, a NEW RE/LACE LINER LOCKER for a snug and easy to operate closure, Latex memory pads for a lifetime heel fit, a Flex toe which expands for a custom toe box fit and Directional non-slip heel grip lining for keeping your feet where they belong.
The Ortholite® Dual Density Footbed offers top notch control and cushioning.
The ILS Liner Lacing features a lacing harness firmly connected to the boot shell. This harness snugly wraps around the liner, securing it in the shell and providing precise lacing and fit.
And the Re/Lace Liner Locker provides easy adjustability of your inner boot lacing when your boot shell is already tightened (tied), by just pulling up on the lace handle. This allows you to (re)tighten your liner and foothold throughout the day (on and off the chairlift) without having to untie your boot.
Outsole
The Vibram® Outsole is made out of a Vibram® ICETREK compound material and is made for maximum grip on icy surfaces. Developed to provide improved grip on ice and snow surfaces, Vibram® ICETREK allows you to move more freely in cold climates. Vibram® ICETREK compound will not scratch or damage interior floors or absorb liquids or dirt while offering grip and traction on icy surfaces. The EVA midsole provides cushioning and thermal insulation. Air Dampening is the best shock absorbing technology on the planet that sucks up hard landings and keeps your heels from getting bruised. This noticeable difference in ride and comfort does not compromise response or control.
Lacing System
Once again, Nitro is pushing ahead by introducing the TLS 5 Twin lacing system. Based on the experience from their previous technical lacing systems, they have further refined the functionality of the TLS 5: Easier lace engagement and release, combined with less friction of the Dyneema® laces are the key factors of this highly reliable mechanism. The moulded TLS lace handles provide better grip and comfort for more comfort and lacing power.
The Bail Out System is designed to make unlacing the TLS system even easier. This pull tab that is placed in the middle of the TLS lacing system on the outside of the boot allows for effortless
unlacing and recording breaking speeds for taking your boots off.

Nitro blev grundlagt af to af de tunge drenge fra snowboard-miljøet, som var skuffet over udvalget af snowboardudstyr, som var tilgængeligt for dem. Fra første dag har Nitro's fokus været på intet andetend snowboarding og de er fastsatte på at fastholde det fokus. Sammen med et stjernespækket team, så er Nitro's mål at bringe mennesker sammen. Med hjælp fra snowboard events for børn, ungen og voksne er planen over de næste par år at bringe glæden og kærligheden for snowboarding tilbage over hele verden.
