Most companies can claim to have created an all-mountain ski, which is able to ski everything relatively well. However, with the Dirty bear from Majesty, we have a ski which can ski every facet of the mountain equally as well. Piste and powder are super fun with the dirty bear, with its snappy core and 99 mm waist. Ice and bumps are handled with the camber underfoot and rockered tip. The ski even excels in the park, where most of its competitors are stumped. Majesty see your 'all mountain ski', and raise you a Dirty Bear!
Majesty describe the Dirty Bear as a 'versatile and well-rounded ski that combines the best of freeride and freestyle' - we couldn't agree more. The Dirty Bear really does define what an all mountain ski can do.
The Dirty Bear is a mid-flat directional twin tip. The 99 mm waist allows the ski to be comfortably skied all over the mountain, the sidecut which is directional gives the ski a long but stable turn radius, allowing it to be skied powerfully. Despite being designed to be ridden primarily forwards the Dirty Bear is a twin tip and thus, can be skied backwards and with the wide waist actually is a stable platform for landing tricks.
The rocker on the Dirty Bear is just in the nose, so it allows flotation and performance on piste.
On Majesty's 1-to-9 scale, the Dirty Bear scores a 5. The flex is thus in the middle range and was combined with directionality, which makes it just perfect for all conditions.
The construction of the Dirty Bear is steady and strong. It has full double layer wood core with poplar and ash for a solid flexing core with longevity. PU sidewalls and shock absorbers in the core add to the durability and shock absorbing properties of the skis. With 90° sidewall construction riding properties are not only enhanced, but the servicing of the skis becomes much easier.

Born in Europe, raised in the States, Majesty Skis focus on creating a fusion of art, design, engineering and sports. Keeping an eye on the environment and doing more than just everyday recycling, Majesty have set up the Skis4Trees program. For every pair of Majesty skis sold worldwide, they plant a tree. A great initiative that we hope more companies get on board with in the next few years.
