The Artist Addition by Lobster is always something special. With the Aaron Schwartz Artist Addition, powder dreams come true. The short, wide freeride board scores with the new shape that brings surf-feeling to the mountain, and with his artwork, of course.
Steep lines and endless pow – the Aaron Schwartz Artist Addition is made for deep days.
A Tapered Directional board is the best for freeriding. The nose is longer and wider than the tail, giving you plenty of control in any terrain, and the stance is set back to help you float above the pow.
The Pow 3BT™ (Triple Base) profile combines a traditional camber with a 3D shape at the nose and tail. Just like the shape of a spoon, this lifts the contact points off the snow to reduce hang-ups and increase the float in pow, without compromising stability, pop or grip on hard snow.
The medium-soft flex makes the board stiff enough for powerful turns and soft enough for a playful ride.
The Core Core is a poplar wood core reinforced with two central hardwood stringers to enhance pop reinforce the camber and strengthen the insert area. Biax Laminate is a two-way weave of fibreglass: Light, strong and responsive keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness. Lobster's SideKick™ increases the uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation smoother, increases float in powder and improves handling of the board in rough terrain. The Super Slick Base is not a basic extruded base. It has the highest molecular content available for an extruded base. That means it’s super slick, durable and maintenance-free.
If you are a freestyle junkie, Lobster is the thing for you! The company was founded by legendary snowboarding brothers Eiki and Halldor Helgason who wanted to make boards suited perfectly to their own wants and needs. Dedication, crazy top sheets, 3BT technology, and high quality materials have helped put the brothers on the map. If we have any say in the matter, that's hopefully where they will stay.
