Playful yet precise, the Mountain Twin from Jones Snowboards is the board for freestylin’ freeriders who want one board that can do it all. It’s designed to shred the entire mountain like it’s your own personal skatepark without sacrificing high-speed, line-bombing stability. Rocker tip and tail make poppin’ pillows or pressin’ boxes equally easy and give the Mountain Twin float and finesse in soft snow. Camber underfoot combined with Mellow Magne-Traction give the board snap and hold carving hardpack or boosting out of the halfpipe. New for this season, the Mountain Twin's Power Core has been re-profiled for better torsional response between the feet. The mountain graphic on the Mountain Twin was painted by artist RP Roberts.

This Directional Twin will provide you with some extra float in the deep fluffy stuff while still providing excellent switch riding capabilities. Due to the setback of the bindings towards the tail, the nose gets a little bit longer, while the shape of nose and tail is still symmetric. In deep snow, the blunted nose makes sure that less snow comes over the sides of your nose, as that would obviously slow you down. This also means you get the benefits of a longer traditional nose, without the extra weight. Take advantage of the Magne-Traction edges to effortlessly link turns that look and feel nice whether they are at high speeds or slow and controlled. The Magne-Traction serrated edges give great edge hold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and ice. They turn ice into powder. At the far ends of the progressive sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the side cut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.
A unique rocker/camber flex pattern defined by an evenly balanced tip and tail rocker and a camber between the bindings. CAMROCK improves freestyle finesse by keeping your tips playful while maintaining the power and pop of underfoot camber.
With a medium-stiff flex, the Mountain Twin is especially suited for big freestyle moves and powerful riders.
The Mountain Core is a dual-density full wood core with hardwood bamboo stringers for added pop and durability.mMulti-axis stitched Triax fibreglass laminate offers a precise and responsive ride in any terrain or snow conditions. The Sintered 7000 Base is made out of a durable natural base material with added carbon for speed and good wax absorbency. The ECO-Plastic Topsheet is a bio-plastic topsheet made from Castor beans. This eco-material is ultralight, chip/scratch resistant and water/snow repellent (snow sticks less to the topsheet). I All Jones boards are made with oversized recycled steel edges for added durability and improved production sustainability. The Rubber edge dampening and ABS Sidewall material is made of 100 % recycled material. Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with WEND natural wax as well as factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountain. By flip flopping the base graphic colour, P-Tex waste is drastically reduced by increasing the material yield.
This board is also available in 'Wide' version. These are wider than normal boards and developed especially for snowboarders with large feet (EU size 44+) to avoid too much overhang of the boots. Wider boards also give you better float in powder.

"Snowboarding is not my job, it’s my life". Jones Snowboard founder Jeremy Jones explains so much in so few words. He wanted to create the ultimate snowboarding gear that lived up to even the highest standards, and he has done exactly that. The company prides itself on giving back to the wild places they so dearly cherish through actions such as 1% For the Planet. There is nothing we don't love about Jeremy Jones and his vision.
