The HUB Vermont, a high-top sneaker. Crafted from nubuck. Seven pairs of metal eyelets and leather loop on the shoe back allow the cotton laces to circle the ankle for extra support. HUB logo is on the tongue and at the bottom of the heel, with the iconic Z-stitch on both sides of the shoe.
The V27 sole is a vulcanised rubber sole, which means that during the manufacturing process, the rubber is transformed into polymer. The benefit of this process is that polymer has a more durable, giving you the highest quality for the longest time. The underside of the outsole has a herringbone print, which is inspired by the early tennis shoe. In the 1930’s the first tennis shoe designs had this print, it assured better grip for running up and down the court. The HUB logo is found on the heel and bottom of the sole.
Drawing from tennis and the sports world, the insoles are an important part of all the HUB shoes. Just like most sports shoes, comfort, stability and quality are vital to the process of design. This makes the V27 insoles with the Air Flow Comfort Orthotic System and essential when creating a shoe. The insole has a soft gel on the heel in combination with a hard cover of the outsole, to ensure maximum comfort.
