With the smile that has a permanent residence on her face, Kaitlyn worked tirelessly with Gnu's builders to create a snowboard tailored to hard carving, pow floating freeride day dreams. Her dreams have been realised with the Klassy's Directional shape, designed with deep days in mind, and C2x contour ensuring snappy freestyle fun. Heart-warming happiness every time you look down courtesy of Andy Davis artwork.
For Ladies of all abilities who want a playful freeride board that allows you to perform at the highest level. From intermediate to pro riders, this board offers high performance in the backcountry up to the big mountain lines.
The Klassy has a directional shape which increases speed and float. In deep snow, the slightly longer nose and the short tail helps you to maintain a natural stance and allows you to keep your emphasis centered, without sinking at lower speeds. So you don't have to lean on your tail all the time to stay afloat. Take advantage of the Magne-Traction edges to effortlessly link turns that look and feel nice whether they are at high speeds or slow and controlled. The Magne-Traction serrated edges give great edge hold all over the mountain especially on hard pack and ice. They turn ice into powder.
C2x means rocker between your feet combined with camber out to tip and tail. Kills everything! Aggressive perfection in turning, jibbing and unreal float in pow combined with a tip to tail control, power, and pop of camber.
The medium flex of the Klassy makes it suited for all kinds of freeriding. Highspeed Powder runs, long nose butters or spin your body in weird ways and execute unreal moves.
The Co-Extruded Base is hard, fast and virtually maintenance free. A Gnu sublimation system exclusive oddity, that loves a good wax but still slides great even when you forget to. The core consists of a strong Aspen spine with Columbian Gold on either side and a string of Paulownia, giving you a strong and light core with a crisp pop. Bi-ax and Tri-ax fiberglass surrounds the Woodcore and adds the needed stiffness and durability. The Ultra High Molecular Weight UHMW sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls. Furthermore, the Eco Sublimated Bio Beans Topsheet is tough and environmentally friendly.
