Inspired by Dakine team rider Louif Paradis—a native of the chilly northern climate of Quebec—the new Huntsman jacket is built for deep-winter days, and stacked with performance features. The nylon oxford shell is backed with our waterproof and breathable membrane and reinforced with elbow and yoke panels, for maximum durability and protection from the elements. Primaloft® Silver Eco insulation runs at 60g through the torso and 40g in the sleeves, providing vital warmth without compromising on agility or range of motion. The rear game pouch comes in handy for stashing goggles, glove liners, or an extra beanie. And the two-way adjustable hood is removable, for a customizable look and fit.
Dakine started in 1979 on the shores of Maui, when Rob Kaplan set out to create a bombproof surf leash. With a move to the mountains, the business naturally expanded into snow sports. Some of Dakine's most iconic pieces were created out of the wants and wishes of local skiers and snowboarders who strolled in and out of the new office. Dakine pride themselves on the high quality of their products, and we are yet to come across someone who isn't impressed with their durability.
