Outer boot
The outer boot features a lightweight Vibram® outsole that is designed for superior traction and high durability. The Internal Ankle Harness offers additional support, flexibility and heel hold. The Articulated Construction allows the upper and lower zones of the boot to flex independently which minimizes shell distortion and maximizes heel hold and response. Integrated vents built into the shell and liner work as one to transport moisture away from the riders’ foot. This proprietary Aerotech Ventilation System promotes warmth and dryness while preventing bacteria build-up.

Liner
The construction of the Black Liner combines EVA memory foam and high rebound heat-moldable EVA, offering you out of the box comfort and an unrivaled custom fit. While lateral support beams and a 360 degree Power Strap provide support all season long. Anatomical latex J-bars will lock your heels into place for fast and precise response. The DC Impact S insole was developed with a single-density polyurethane, designed for comfort, durability and energy return. While the top surface comforts the feet and offers a moisture-wicking fabric for long lasting comfort and dryness.

Lacing System
The Dual BOA coiler platform is unbeatable, it is fast, super strong and offers micro-adjustability for dialing in the perfect balance between flex and support. This system allows you to tighten the upper and lower zones independently of each other with two separate coiler spools. This results in a secure and consistent fit throughout the boot with a greater hold in the heel pocket for an overall more comfortable feel. Furthermore, the Boa Black SS laces are made out of stainless steel, so they won’t rust or corrode in even the most demanding conditions. Perfect for riders who demand the very best.​
